Went in last Sunday at 5pm for dinner there was 1 table of 4 men eating. I watched the young employees slap box with oven mits n clown around,which I'm not bothered by it, but the co2 was out n the soda station had mold spots on the outside of the machine! Tables, bbq and ice cream station completely dirty. We were told we had to eat out of to go containers because they r short staffed...the guys who were there before us trays mind you. My husband and my food were cold. I had a Groupon so I was glad not to pay full price for nasty food n poor business practice. On top of everything on the way out the 3 young men that were there were on their phones and eating in the office! I should just call the health department....
Took my friend here this past Wednesday to get the Dotd. Only one person was working the line while the other worker nowhere to be found. The kitchen and dining rooms were absolutely trashed. They got my order wrong twice. At the register I asked him, “isn’t that my order over there?” He rudely mumbled to me, “Um, no. It’s right here.” He was giving me a to go bag when I requested to eat there. So I sat down, emptied the bag, and of course they gave me another person’s picnic pack. I could feel how frozen the rolls were through the box. I can’t imagine how upset the lady was, since she had to wait about 15 minutes for her picnic pack. Thought this was supposed to be fast food Barbecue? Anyways, I went back to tell him they gave me the wrong order and he, without saying a word, gave me my order. I sat down and my friend pointed out that his side was wrong. We just ignored it and ate. Then after the customers were “taken care of”, the two employees sat down with their friend at the dining room table, drank soda, talked, and went on their phones. Meanwhile, the dining room was trashed, tables were disgusting, kitchen was a mess, and they were ignoring the work’s phone calls. What a horrible dining experience. I will not return.
Food is really good if they make it right. Their customer service has lost its charm. Understanding that the restaurant has gone through trying to find good management, employees, and even lost its original owner. Good franchise, but it’s a tough location that has lost its great reputation.

This was the worst experience that I ever had at a restaurant. I live in MN and we were visiting our family in Milwaukee. We were planning to do family BBQ from your restaurant since we ate at the one in MN and enjoyed it. I called to place our order over the phone since the Order Online option wasn't available. I called to order the XL Family Pack and was told they couldn't take a large order over the phone and we would have to go in person to place the order. After getting home, we learn that they left off 2 of the sides, we come back to pick it up.They ask us which items were missing, we told them the two items. The girl who took our order insisted that we ordered mashed potatoes and that she put them in the bag. After back and forth, they proceeded to fulfill the rest of our order. Somewhere along the way we had a heated exchange due to them wanting to argue about why we were mad. When we got home, our original food (meat, original sides) were cold, the meat was fatty and inedible and that was grounds to honestly have taken the food back. I have NEVER in my life had to curse at an employee of any establishment. I have never in my life experienced a restaurant so unwilling to say a simple apology and make amends with a customer. There were several times and opportunities to calm me down and make the situation right. Instead, they decided to provide additional commentary on why I shouldn't be mad. Customer service is missing from this place and so is flavor and taste. STAY AWAY!
